Immediately 1,000 promotional kits dedicated to MAC³
Today the memorandum of understanding was signed between the Municipality of Torre del Greco, the Corallo e Cammeo Torrese Consortium and Federalberghi Costa del Vesuvio: a strategic agreement aimed at strengthening the city’s tourism promotion through steady cooperation among institutions, the hospitality sector and the cultural sphere.
The agreement, signed by Mayor Luigi Mennella, by the President of the Corallo e Cammeo Torrese Consortium, Vincenzo Aucella, and by the President of Federalberghi Costa del Vesuvio, Adelaide Palomba, represents a further step in the path launched by the municipal administration to build a network able to enhance local excellence and make Torre del Greco increasingly attractive.
At the heart of the protocol is the MAC³ Museum – Museum of Art, Coral, Cameo and the City of Torre del Greco, recognized as one of the city’s main cultural and identity landmarks. Through the agreement, the museum will be structurally included in the offer aimed at visitors staying in local accommodation facilities.
The agreement also provides for the establishment of a permanent consultation table among the three signatory parties, to plan, coordinate and monitor initiatives and tourism development policies, fostering ongoing dialogue on the actions to be implemented to increase visitor flows and extend their stay in the city.
Under the protocol,
- Federalberghi Costa del Vesuvio will promote the MAC³ Museum among its member facilities, distributing information material, highlighting initiatives through its communication channels and including the museum among the main attractions suggested to guests.
- The Corallo e Cammeo Torrese Consortium will ensure constant support in promoting museum activities and events, as well as assessing specific concessions dedicated to visitors coming from participating facilities.
- The Municipality of Torre del Greco will ensure the institutional coordination of the initiative, promoting the protocol and fostering, also through technical working groups, shared planning of tourism policies.
“With this protocol we strengthen an alliance that places the tourism future of our city at the center,” says the Mayor of Torre del Greco, Luigi Mennella. “Promoting Torre del Greco depends on our ability to work as a system, enhancing our cultural excellence, the identity craftsmanship of coral and cameo, and the fundamental role of accommodation facilities. Only through stable cooperation between public and private sectors can we build an increasingly qualified and competitive offer, capable of telling visitors the authentic identity of our city”.
“We welcome with great satisfaction the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding – states Adele Palomba, President of FederAlberghi - which represents a concrete example of how the tourism enhancement of the area can arise only through stable and structured cooperation between institutions and private operators. Coordination between public and private sectors is an indispensable condition for building a competitive tourism offer, capable of networking local excellence and generating new growth opportunities. Federalberghi Costa del Vesuvio will continue to do its part, convinced that dialogue, shared planning and integrated promotion are the right path to strengthen the attractiveness of our destination and offer visitors an increasingly complete, high-quality experience.”
The President of the Corallo e Cammeo Torrese Consortium, Vincenzo Aucella, states: “We joined this protocol with enthusiasm, because we believe that enhancing the area must translate into concrete actions and not remain merely a commitment on paper. For this reason, we immediately produced 1,000 promotional kits dedicated to the MAC³ Museum, which we make available first and foremost to Federalberghi so that it can promote the museum through the participating accommodation facilities.
At the same time, we want to extend this opportunity to all accommodation facilities in the area, regardless of their type, as well as to commercial activities, bars, restaurants and everyone who wishes to contribute to promoting the artistic and cultural heritage of Torre del Greco.
We believe that the real strength of this project is collaboration among all local stakeholders. We kicked it off, but we can win this match only by playing it together.”
To request the promotional material free of charge, simply send a request to info@corallocammeotorrese.it. The Consortium will provide the kits while supplies last.
The protocol, lasting one year and renewable upon agreement between the parties, entails no direct financial costs and represents an instrument of institutional cooperation aimed at promoting culture, hospitality and tourism development in an integrated way, consolidating the role of the MAC³ Museum and the entire coral and cameo sector as distinctive elements of Torre del Greco’s tourism offer.
