On December 1st, the Stazione Marittima in Naples will host a full day dedicated to the richness of Campania’s craftsmanship. One of the key moments will be the morning workshop reserved for students from vocational and art-oriented high schools, who will have the chance to interact directly with coral and cameo master artisans.

During the session, the artisans will demonstrate the essential stages of their work, from the technical gesture to the final finishing, offering students a concrete understanding of what it means to transform raw material into a crafted piece. 

Students from the Francesco Degni Institute of Torre del Greco will also take part, bringing the perspective of a school closely connected to the local artisanal tradition.

The purpose of this meeting is to bring young people closer to professions that are often little known but rich in heritage, identity and opportunities. Observing the artisans at work provides an immediate sense of the cultural and educational value of these skills, encouraging questions and new insights.

The workshop will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and is reserved for schools.
